From the SCS Software news front, the excitement of the West Balkans DLC release has barely died down.
Now we get word that our favorite software company is set to release the new Kansas DLC for American Truck Simulator.
The American “Sunflower” state is getting it’s own DLC as American Truck Simulator marches eastward towards the Mississippi river.
The state of Kansas was once a “Great Plains” state, populated with massive herds of buffalo and grasslands. Today, the buffalo may be all but gone, as well as much of the grasslands, to be replaced by farmland. The flat, blue skies remain as well, as stunning sunrises and sunsets, which you can experience as you pick up and haul loads destined for farms and ranches in this amazing DLC.
And, if this isn’t enough, SCS has just updated Euro Truck Simulator 2 with version 1.49.
It is available on Steam. With the Moon, and the new weather effects, this is a sight to behold: Provided you have the computer power to do the new version justice.
The new version of Euro Truck 1.49 also comes with used truck dealerships, which is something that fans have been clamoring for, for a long time now.
There are also changes in the truck damage report, which I personally find useful. SCS Software is even giving us fans automatic high beam headlights. Just click “gameplay”, scroll down and check “automatic headlights”. Now, under certain low light conditions, your headlights will automatically switch on high beams.
Finally, to add to American Truck Simulator’s Kansas DLC, SCS Software is releasing a “Farm Machinery” DLC. Get ready to haul everything from harvesters, to tractors, to sprayers. You’ll be hauling agriculture equipment across the states.
And the truck cabin accessories? Straw hats, lunch kits, and even a harvester toy? Well, if this doesn’t encourage you to upgrade the requirements on the old PC, then nothing will!
